Autori uvádzajú prípad pacientky s akútnou myeloblastickou leukémiou, ktorá sa diagnostikovala v pokročilej tehotnosti. U 35-ročnej pacientky s nešpecifickými celkovými príznakmi sa v 27. týždni tehotnosti zistila ťažká anémia a trombocytopénia. Punkciou kostnej drene sa potvrdila akútna myeloblastická leukémia. Po posúdení celkového stavu pacientky, prognózy ochorenia a možnosti ďalšieho vývoja gravidity, bola tehotnosť ukončená v 29. týždni cisárskym rezom ešte pred začatím cytostatickej liečby. Pacientka po niekoľkomesačnej cytostatickej liečbe chorobe podľahla. Dieťa je sledované a prosperuje. Pri manažovaní liečby tehotnej pacientky s akútnou myeloblastickou leukémiou je nevyhnutná úzka spolupráca gynekológa, hematológa a neonatológa.

The authors present a case of acute myeloblastic leukemia diagnosed in advanced pregnancy. A 35-year-old patient in the 27th week of gestation presented with non-specific symptoms was admitted to the hospital with severe anaemia and thrombocytopenia. The diagnosis of acute myeloblastic leukaemia was confirmed by bone marrow aspiration. After considering the alternatives and prognosis, the foetus was delivered by elective caesarean section in the 29th week of pregnancy prior to beginning chemotherapy. The patient finally succumbed to the disease despite a several-month therapy. The infant is followed up and is doing well. Therapeutic management of the pregnant patient with acute myeloblastic leukaemia requires close cooperation between a gynaecologist, haematologist and neonatologist.
