Léčba chronického srdečního selhání vychází z posledních vědeckých poznatků. Základem léčby je komplexní a moderní farmakoterapie bez ohledu na etiologii srdeční dysfunkce. Výběr terapie se řídí úrovní ejekční frakce levé komory. Důležitým přístupem je prevence srdečního selhání u pacien tů s vysokým rizikem a léčba komorbidit.
Treatment of heart failure is based on up-to-date scientific evidence. The basis of treatment is complex and modern pharmacotherapy regardless of the etiology of cardiac dysfunction. The choice of treatment is governed by the level of left ventricular ejection fraction. An important approach is the prevention of heart failure in high-risk patients and the treatment of comorbidities.
