Autoři prezentují kazuistiky tří pacientů, u kterých zobrazovací vyšetření prokázala benigní expanzivně se chovající kostní lézi, kdy ve dvou případech byla potvrzena aneuryzmatická kostní cysta lokalizovaná u jednoho z pacientů v úseku hrudní páteře a u druhého pacienta v oblasti krční páteře, u třetího pacienta byl histologicky diagnostikován chondrosarkom hrudního úseku páteře. Autoři shrnují základní charakteristiky aneuryzmatická kostní cysty, její etiologii, a diferenciální diagnostiku.
The authors present 3 patients who were initially suspected of having a benign spinal mass. In two of these cases an aneurysmal bone cyst in the thoracic and cervical spine respectively were revealed on examination. In the third patient a histological examination was needed to establish the diagnosis of chondrosarcoma of the T2. The authors review typical findings of aneurysmal bone cyst using imaging techniques and discuss its etiology and differential diagnosis.
