U 32 diabetiků se selháním ledvin, u kterých byla v letech 1985-1991 provedena transplantace pankreatu a ledviny (n=12) a samotné ledviny (n=23) byla formou dotazníku zjištována kvalita života se zaměřením na jejich pocitové hodnoty. Před transplantací byla zjištěna diabetická polyneuropatie ve 100% u obou skupin příjemců, proliferativní retinopatie v 91,7 resp. v 69,5%, ischemická choroba srdeční v 16,6 resp. v 17,A%. Převážná většina příjemcú v obou skupinách hodnotila jako lepší využití volného času a radost ze života. Partnerské vztahy se výrazně neměnily, sexuální aktivita se významně zvýšila a o byla vyšší u příjemců pankreatu a ledviny než samotné ledviny. Souhlas s případnou opakovanou transplantací vyjádřilo 75% příjemců pankreatu a ledviny a 86% příjemců samotné ledviny.
The quality of life of 32 diabetic patients with renal failure who had pancreas and kidney transplantation (n=12) or kidney transplantotion (n=:23) In the 1985-1991 period, was established using a questionnaire exploring some emotional aspects. There was no major changes In partnerships, while their sexual activity rose markedly, and was higher in pancreas and kidney graft recipients than In patients having kidney transplantation only. Consent with a potential repeated transplantation was expressed by 75% of pancreas and kidney transplant recipients, and 86% of those undergoing simple renal transplantation.
