Vzhledem k infikovanému terénu je nutné po transplantaci čerstvých tepenných allograftů v léčbě infekcí cévních protéz zvážit typ a spůsob imunosuprese. Pro některé své vlastnosti by použití FK 506 mohlo nahradit imunosupresi cyklosporinem A. Při neužitíimunosuprese FK 506 po transplantaci tepenných allograftů u potkanů se první známky rejekce objevili ve druhém týdnu. Podaní FK 506 sedm dní po transplantaci by tak mohlo být ještě účinné k potlačení degenerativních změn v cévní stěně.; The presence of infection involves an emphasy on sorts and doses of immunosuppressive drugs when fresh arterial grafts (FAG) are used in treatment of vascular prosthetic infection. The use of tacrolimus (FK 506) after FAG transplantation has some advantages when compared to cyclosporine A (CyA). In the model of rats fresh arterial grafts transplantation were first signs of rejection detected during second week after implantation. The start of FK 506 administration on seventh day after transplantation could be still effective in suppression of FAG´s degenerative changes.
