V období let 1999-2000 bylo na I. chirurgické klinice odoperováno 604 nemocných pro kýlu v oblasti třísla, 81,3 % pro primární, 18,7 % pro kýlu recidivující. V případě recidivujících kýl se v 81 % jednalo o první, v 15 % o druhou, ve čtyřech procentech pak o minimálně třetí recidivu. Při operaci recidiv jsme použili následné plastiky: McVay-Lotheissen (20,3 %), TAPP (31 %), PHS (21,2 %), plug (16,8 %) a Lichtenstein (9,7 %). K rekurenci ve follow up 12 měsíců došlo jednou po TAPP, jednou po McVay-L a jednou po Lichtensteinově plastice (follow up zahrnuje 95 % pacientů po plug a 88 % pacientů po TAPP). Obě metody představují bezpečný a spolehlivý způsob operací recidivujících tříselných kál.

During 1999-2000 at the First Surgical Clinc 604 patients were operated on account of hernias in the groin, 81.3% on account of primary hernias and 18.7% on account of relapsing hernias. In relapsing hernias in 81% a first relapse was involved,in 15% a second relapse and in 4% at least a third relapse. During surgery the following plastic procedures were used: McVay-Lotheis¦en (20.3%), TAPP (31%), PHS (21.2%, plug (16.8%) and Lichtenstein (9.7%). Recurrence during the follow-up of 12 months occurred once after TAPP, once after McVay-L and once after Lichtenstein plastic operation (the follow-up comprises 95% patients after plug and 88% patients after TAPP).Both methods are safe and reliable surgery of relapsing inguinal hernias.
