Autoři prezentují výsledky dotazníkového šetření Ministerstva práce a sociálních věcí (MPSV) „Názory lékařů a veřejnosti na činnost lékařské posudkové služby“. Cílem výzkumu bylo na základě zjištěných názorů přijmout opatření ke zlepšení činnosti lékařské posudkové služby. Autoři se zaměřují především na praktické lékaře, kteří byli mezi dotázanými lékaři nejpočetněji zastoupeni. V závěru vyslovují názor, že je třeba zlepšit a prohloubit komunikaci a spolupráci mezi praktickými a posudkovými lékaři. Hypoteticky dovozují, že se tak zvýší i informovanost pacientů/klientů o činnosti lékařské posudkové služby, a tím se sníží konfliktnost jednání mezi klientem a posudkovým lékařem, kterou udávají praktičtí lékaři jako jeden z důvodů svého nezájmu o obor posudkové lékařství.

The authors present the results of a Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (MoLSA) questionnaire: “Doctors' and Public opinion on the activity of the Medical Assessment Service”. The aim of the research was to identify ways in which the service could be improved. The authors focus on general practitioners - who were the majority of respondents. In conclusion, they express their opinion that it is crucial to improve cooperation and communication between the GP and the assessment doctors. Hypothetically they infer from the survey results that patients´/clients´ awareness of the Medical Assessment Service activity will be increased, thereby decreasing the number of conflict situations between clients and assessment doctors. GPs state that one of the main reasons why there is a lack of interest in working for the Medical Assessment Service is because of the confrontational situations.
