Sex determination of skeletal remains is basic problem of findings from archaeological ground-burial. Morphological and anthropometric methods help us for assessment of gender but we can not use them for immature specimens, skeletal fragments or bone from burned graves. Hence in the nineties, molecular- genetic methods, based on amplification specific locuses of human gonosomes, began to apply in laboratories. In this study, sex determination of bones was implemented genetically, amplification of amelogenin marker. The results of genetic analysis were further compared with morphologically defined gender. Contingent congruence of both outcomes would help on the functionality of methods whereas it will be possible to apply molecular-genetic method to fragmental or infant skeletal material.
