Cieľom práce bolo zistiť, či využitím patologických hodnôt integrovaného testu dôjde k zvýšeniu senzitivity predikcie intrauterinnej rastovej retardácie a preklampsie pri chromozomálne normálnych plodoch. Súbor tvorilo 569 pacientok, u ktorých bol vykonaný integrovaný test. Z výsledkov vyplýva, že ani modely, ktoré využívajú patologické hodnoty markerov integrovaného testu pri chromozomálne normálnych plodoch, nedosahujú dostatočnú senzitivitu a špecifickosť, ktorá by spĺňala kritériá skríningovej metódy pre predikciu intrauterinnej rastovej retardácie a preeklampsie.

The objective of the study was to ascertain the option for prediction of intrauterine growth retardation and preeclampsia with using the pathological values of the integrated test markers in chromosomally normal foetuses. The study group of 569 patients underwent the integrated test. The results of this study reveal that not even models using pathological values of the integrated test markers in chromosomally normal foetuses achieve sufficient sensitivity and specificity able to meet criteria of a screening method for prediction of intrauterine growth retardation and preeclampsia.
