Zlepšenie výsledkov liečby a kvality života po transplantáciách pečene umožňujú ženám vo fertilnom veku za určitých podmienok plánovať tehotnosť. Tehotnosti po transplantácii pečene sú vysoko rizikové, častejšie sú komplikované hypertenziou, infekciou, predčasným pôrodom a nízkou pôrodnou hmotnosťou novorodencov. Pri súčasnej imunosupresívnej liečbe treba zvažovať možný toxický vplyv na vyvíjajúci sa plod. Autori prinášajú prehľad problematiky z odbornej literatúry up to date a odporúčania pre predkoncepčný, prenatálny, peripartálny a postpartálny manažment. Súčasne prezentujú vlastné skúsenosti analýzou skupiny 5 tehotností a pôrodov žien po transplantácii pečene na I. gynekologicko-pôrodníckej klinike SZU v Bratislave.

Improved survival and quality of life following liver transplantation is associated with an increased frequency of pregnancies in the group of liver transplanted women. This group of high risk pregnancies are often complicated by hypertension, infection, preterm delivery and low birth weight of newborns. Pregnancies after liver transplantation are successful despite the potentially toxic effects of immunosuppressive drug therapy. Authors present an up to date review of the literature and recommendations for preconceptional, prenatal, peripartal and postpartal management. Authors also present their own experience and analyse the group of 5 pregnancies and deliveries of liver transplanted women from the I. Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Slovak Medical University in Bratislava.
