Ovplyvňuje patomechanizmus stresovej inkontinencie moču výsledok implantácie transobturatórnej suburetrálnej pásky? [Does pathomechanism of stress urinary incontinence influence the treatment outcome of tot implantation?]

Autori sa v práci venujú vplyvu patomechanizmu stresovej inkontinencie moču (SUI) na výsledok jej liečby implantáciou transobturatórnej pásky (TOT). Patomechanizmus SUI posudzujú na základe hodnoty abdominálneho únikového tlaku (VLPP). Za ukazovatele výsledku implantácie považujú zmenu kvality života operovaných pacientok (subjektívny výsledok) a zmenu množstva uniknutého moču (objektívny výsledok). Analýza súboru poukazuje na vysokú účinnosť implantácie TOT v liečbe SUI bez ohľadu na jej patomechanizmus.
Authors in the study analyse the influence of stress urinary incontinence (SUI) pathomechanism on the result of its treatment by transobturator tape (TOT) implantation. The pathomechanism of SUI is assessed by the value of abdominal leak point pressure (VLPP). The change in quality of life and the change in amount of urine leakage are considered to be indicators for subjective and objective treatment outcome of the implantation. Analysis of the study highlights high efficacy of TOT implantation in treatment of SUI regardless of its pathomechanism.
