Cílem příspěvku je připomenutí jedné z nejvýznamnějších českých osobností moderního ošetřovatelství doc. PhDr. Marty Staňkové, CSc. (1938–2003). Profesi ošetřovatelství a pedagogiky v tomto oboru se věnovala prakticky celý svůj aktivní život. V oblasti pedagogiky prosadila mnoho žádoucích změn a je autorkou řady studijních materiálů a monografií. Byla rovněž historicky první českou habilitovanou sestrou.
The aim of this article is to remind one of the most important personality of Czech modern nursing Marta Stankova, PhD (1938–2003). She dedicated her entire life to the profession of a nurse and education in the field of nursing. She pushed many desirable changes in education of nurses and is also the author of numerous studying materials and monographs. She was also the first habilitated Czech nurse ever.
