Péče o zuby, dásně a další oblasti dutiny ústní je nedílnou součástí každodenní hygieny, a proto je na českém trhu dostupná celá řada přípravků, které mají za úkol tuto péči usnadnit. Tento článek přináší jejich přehled postavený na tradičním členění, nikoli na kategorizaci přípravků dle platné legislativy. V rámci každé uvedené skupiny jsou začleněny příklady komerčních přípravků včetně jejich legislativního zařazení (léčivé přípravky, zdravotnické prostředky, kosmetické přípravky). Samozřejmostí jsou také praktické rady a informace, které by měly být pacientovi při výdeji sděleny lékárníkem nebo farmaceutickým asistentem.

The care of teeth, gums and other areas of the oral cavity is an essential part of daily hygiene. Therefore, the commercial market of the Czech Republic offers a lot of products that should facilitate the care of these areas. This article provides an overview of dental products based on the traditional classification instead of the categorization of products according to the current legislation. Each mentioned group includes commercially available examples together with their legislative classification (medicinal preparations, medical devices, cosmetics). A fundamental part of the article also represents the practical advice and information that should be provided to the patient during the dispensing process in the pharmacy.
