Těžkou formou asthma bronchiale trpí zhruba 5-10 % populace astmatiků. V kazuistice je popsán případ pacientky s těžkým perzistujícím eosinofilním nealergickým asthma bronchiale, u které po zahájení biologické léčby benralizumabem došlo k úplnému vymizení akutních exacerbací a celkovému zlepšení kvality života.

Roughly 5-10% of the asthmatic population suffers from a severe form of bronchial asthma. The case report describes the case of a patient with severe persistent eosinophilic non-allergic bronchial asthma, in whom, after the use of biological treatment - benralizumab - there was a complete disappearance of acute exacerbations and an overall improvement in the quality of life.
