Článek shrnuje zkušenosti se zaváděním nemocničního informačního systému ve Fakultní porodnici v Brně. Ukazuje, že samotné počítače a jejich propojení do sítě zdaleka neřeší problém nemocničního informačního systému. Je třeba volit vhodného strategického partnera, který zajistí nejen zavedení, ale i dlouhodobý rozvoj NIS. S tím souvisí i návrh řešení potřebných inovací, včetně jejich finančního zabezpečení.
The paper describes experience with implementation of the hospital information system (HIS) in the Faculty Maternity Home in Brno. It shows, that not mly computers and computer networks are part of the hospital information system requirements. Also the choice of suitable strategic partner, that will assure not only implementation, but also long-termed development of HIS is required. Also further innovation, including their financial assurance has to be considered.
