Reflexné zmeny v oblasti subokcipitálnych svalov (sOS) vedú často k poruchám cervikálnej propriocepcie. Chybná propriocepcia tak môže ovplyvniť posturálnu stabilitu (PS), ktorú je potrebné terapeuticky ovplyvňovať spoločne s terapiou v oblasti krčnej chrbtice. Existuje niekoľko terapeutických prístupov, ktorými sa dajú ovplyvňovať bolestivé zmeny v oblasti sOS. Cieľom štúdie bolo určiť okamžitý vplyv myofasciálnej release techniky (MFR) v oblasti sOS na PS vo vzpriamenom stoji, a v stoji so zaklonenou hlavou u osôb, ktorým boli diagnostikované reflexné zmeny, respektíve trigger points v tejto oblasti. Celkom 12 osôb, žien (vek 39 ± 10,5 rokov) absolvovalo hodnotenie PS na silovej plošine. Výsledky ukázali, že tesne po aplikácii MFR došlo k významným zmenám stabilometrických parametrov, konkrétne center of pressure výchyliek, najmä v anterioposteriórnom smere
Myofascial trigger points in the suboccipital muscles often lead to disorders of cervical proprioception. Faulty proprioception can affect postural stability, which needs to be addressed therapeutically together with the cervical spine area. There are several therapeutic approaches that can be used to influence painful changes in the suboccipital muscles. The aim of the study was to determine the immediate effect of the myofascial release technique in the suboccipital muscles on postural stability in an upright position and in a position with the head tilted back in persons diagnosed with trigger points in this area. A total of 12 people, women (age 39 ± 10.5 years) completed the assessment of postural stability on a force platform. The results showed that immediately after the application of the myofascial release technique, there were significant changes in posturographic parameters, namely the centre of pressure deviations, especially in the anteroposterior direction.
