Koncept Street medicine je relativně mladým oborem, který se od svého založení v 90. letech z USA rozšířil do celého světa a výjimkou není ani Česká republika. Z původně dobrovolných aktivit spojených se studenty lékařských fakult se pomalu, ale jistě profesionalizuje nové odvětví péče, které spojuje komunitní ošetřovatelství se sociální prací. V tomto příspěvku jsou představeny základní myšlenky konceptu, realizace projektu na území města Plzně a legislativní rámec. V závěru jsou představeny perspektivy, které koncept nabízí.
The concept of street medicine is a relatively young field that has spread all over the world since its establishment in the 1990s in the USA, and the Czech Republic is no exception. From what were originally voluntary activities associated with medical students, a new branch of care that combines community nursing with social work is slowly but surely becoming professionalised. In this article are presented: the basic ideas of the concept, the implementation of the project in the city of Pilsen and the legislative framework. In the conclusion, the perspectives offered by the concept are presented.
