Cílem tohoto šetření byla verifikace využití intervenčních aktivit vybraných intervencí klasifikace NIC (Nursing Interventions Classification) v prevenci ventilátorové pneumonie (Ventilator Association Pneumonia). K posouzení využitelnosti intervenčních aktivit vybraných intervencí klasifikace NIC byl použit postup ICV testu (Intervention Content Validity test). Expertní skupina 36 všeobecných sester z klinické praxe sledované oblasti intenzivní péče posuzovala intervenční aktivity vybraných intervencí NIC z třídy K Management dýchání (český překlad). Pro každou hodnocenou položku bylo vypočteno vážené skóre (vs). Intervenční aktivity s váženým skóre (vs) ≤0,8 byly považovány za charakteristické (hlavní, prioritní) pro naplnění intervence klasifikace NIC. Intervenční aktivity s vá- ženým skóre (vs) 0,79–0,50 byly považovány za méně charakteristické a byly zařazeny jako doplňkové k naplnění intervence klasifikace NIC. Intervenční aktivity s váženým skóre (vs) <0,50 byly považovány za necharakteristické pro naplnění intervence klasifikace NIC a byly vyřazeny. Na základě uváděných kritérií prokazatelných preventivních opatření byly konkrétně posuzovány intervenční aktivity intervencí klasifikace NIC 3120 Intubace a stabilizace dýchacích cest; 3180 Opatření k zabezpečení umělé plicní ventilace, 3140 Opatření k zabezpečení dýchacích cest a 3160 Odsávání z dýchacích cest (český překlad). V tomto šetření byly detekovány intervenční aktivity, které vykazují využitelnost současných opatření v prevenci ventilátorové pneumonie na území České republiky

This survey is aimed at verifying the use of intervention activities of selected interventions of NIC classifications (Nursing Intervention Classification) in the prevention of Ventilator Associated Pneumonia. The Intervention Content Validity test (ICV test) was used to assess the applicability of intervention activities of selected interventions of NIC classification. The group of experts, 36 general nurses from clinical practice of the monitored area in intensive care, assessed the intervention activities of selected NIC interventions from class K Airway Management. For each evaluated item, the weighted score (ws) was calculated. Intervention activities with the weighted score (ws) ≤0.8 were considered to be characteristic (main, priority) to fulfil the intervention of NIC classification. Intervention activities with the weighted score (ws) 0.75–0.5 were considered to be less characteristic and were classified as additional to fulfil the intervention of NIC classification. Intervention activities with the weighted score (ws) <0.50 were considered to be non-characteristic in fulfilling the intervention of NIC classification and were excluded. Based on the stated criteria of the demonstrable preventive measures, intervention activities of NIC classification interventions were assessed, in particular, 3120 Airway Insertion and Stabilization; 3180 Artificial Ventilation Management; 3140 Airway Management and 3160 Airway Suctioning. In this study, intervention activities were detected, showing the applicability of the current measures to prevent ventilator associated pneumonia in the Czech Republic.
