Screeningové vyšetření províděné koncem I. trimestru gestace vykazuje vyšší sensitivitu a specficitu než klasický biochemický screening II. trimestru gestace Nejvýznamnějším UZ minor markerem I. trimestru, který má asociaci s VVV je šíjové ztluštění. Nový UZ marker I. trimestru, který je nezávislý na šíjovém ztluštění je nosní kůstka. Kombinovaný screening I. trimestru umožní detekovat větší množství plodů s trizomií 21 a současně snížení počtu výkonů invazivní diagnostiky v důsledku falešné pozitivity.; Screening methods performed in the 1st trimester of pregnancy has higher sensitivity and speficity than routinely used biochemical screening of the 2nd trimester The most important ultrasound minor marker of 1st trimestr which is associated with congenital malformationes is nuchal translucency (NT) A new ultrasound minor marker of the 1st trimestr, which is independent on nuchal translucency, is nasal bone (NB). Combinated screening of the 1st trimester of pregnancy enables us to detect more fetuses with trisomy 21 and i addition the number of invasive diagnostic procedures due to false positivity of the test decreases.
