V navrhovaném projektu bude vyšetřeno 15 pacientů s implantovanou mechanickou srdeční podporou, u kterých bude před a 6 a 12 měsíců po implantaci vyšetřena paleta testů charakterizujících postižení periferně uložených tepen: krevní tlak a reziduální pulzatilita, rychlost šíření pulzní vlny, endoteliální funkce, koncentrace cirkulujících mikročástic, počet cirkulujících endoteliálních progenitorových buněk a hladina natriuretického peptidu B-typu. Tyto parametry budou hodnoceny i s ohledem k pulzatilitě toku. Jako kontrolní skupina bude vyšetřeno 10 pacientů s chronickým srdečním selháním a 10 zdravých osob srovnatelného pohlaví a věku.; In the proposed project 15 patients will be examined with implanted mechanical heart support/left ventricular assist device, before, 6 and 12 months after implantation. The spectrum of non-invasive tests will be accomplished that should characterize the status of centrally and peripherally located arteries: blood pressure, residual pulsatility, pulse wave velocity, endothelial function, the concentration of circulating microparticles , the number of circulating endothelial progenitor cells and the level of natriuretic peptide type B. These parameters will be evaluated with respect to presence of residual pulsatile flow. As a control group 10 patients with chronic heart failure and 10 healthy subjects of comparable age and sex will be examined.
