Projekt je zaměřen na zrychlení diagnostického algoritmu u nemocných s podezřením či již prokázaným onemocněním karcinomem pankreatu. Vzhledem k nízkému procentu nemocných, kteří podstupují operační řešení karcinomu pankreatu v současnosti bude vytvořen algoritmus rychlých konzultací a prakticky on-line fungující multidisciplinární team v zájmu zrychlení cílené diagnostiky zejména u nemocných s resekabilním či hraničně resekabilním/lokálně pokročilým karcinomem pankreatu. Působnost projektu je zamýšlena v této fázi na Olomoucký kraj – spádovou oblast KOC Olomouc. Bude vytvořena funkční síť pro rychlou komunikaci mezi spádovými diagnostickými pracovišti a centrem (KOC Olomouc) pro navržení nejvhodnější diagnosticko/léčebné strategie u nemocných s karcinomem pankreatu na základě sdílení výsledků iniciálních vyšetření. Cílem je pak zkrácení celého procesu diagnostiky a rozhodnutí o typu léčby a druhotně tak i zlepšení výsledků přežívání nemocných s karcinomem pankreatu.; The aim of the project is acceleration of the diagnostic algorithm of patients with suspected or already diagnosed pancreatic carcinoma. Since there is a low percentage of patients undergoing radical surgery for pancreatic cancer in Czech Republic, an algorithm for rapid consultation and acceleration of targeted diagnostics will be developed, especially in patients with resectable or surgically potentialy curable patients. The scope of the project is envisaged in the Olomouc Region - the area served by the CCC (comprehensive cancer centre) Olomouc. A functional network for rapid communication between the diagnostic centers and the CCC Olomouc will be created for practically on-line classification of the stage of the disease and recommendation the most appropriate diagnostic/therapeutic strategy for patients with pancreatic cancer based on the sharing of the results of the initial examinations. The aim is to shorten the entire process of diagnosis and decision on the type of treatment, and secondarily to improve the survival of patients with pancreatic carcinoma.
