Achillova šlacha je poměrně často postižena u řady revmatických chorob. Autoři podávají přehled možných ultrazvukových nálezů při diagnostice akutní i chronické tendinitidy. Úskalím při hodnocení chronické tendinitidy je odlišení degenerativních změn a drobných ruptur. Doprovodným nálezem bývá i postižení obou burz.

The Achilles tendon is relatively frequently affected in different rheumatic diseases. The authors present a review of possible ultrasonographic findings in the diagnosis of acute and chronic tendinitis. The pitfall in the evaluation of chronic tendinitis is the differentiation of degenerative changes and minor ruptures. A frequent associated finding is also affection of both bursae.
