Teratokarcinom ovaria je zhoubné nádorové onemocnění, výrazně chemosenzitivní. V následující kazuistice autorka demonstruje případ pacientky s tímto onemocněním, u níž byly kombinovaným způsobem úspěšně uplatněny různé metody léčby (operační výkony, chemoterapie a aktinoterapie), a upozorňuje i na sociální psychologický dopad tohoto onemocnění u mladých žen.

Ovarian teratocarcinoma is a malignant highly chemosensitive disease. In the submitted case-record the author demonstrates a case of the disease in a female patient where a combination of various therapeutic methods was used (surgery, chemotherapy, actinotherapy) and draws attention also to the social and psychological impact of the disease in young women.
