Hospital Na Homolce was the first hospital in Czech Republic that stated operations by using robotic system Da Vinci. The first procedure was performed on 31.10.2005, then the robot was used by specialists of general and vascular surgery, urology and gynecology. By the end of August 2007 there had been 336 procedures performed. On 12.3.2007 the robot was used at cardiosurgical department, by the end of August 25 procedures had been performed.
