Monitoring alergických onemocnění je organizován Státním zdravotním ústavem od roku 1996. Poslední studie byla provedena na dět ské populaci 5, 9, 13 a 17letých dětí v 18 městech ČR v průběhu roku 2006. Data byla získána z dokumentace 61 dětských lékařů a od rodičů dětí v průběhu preventivní prohlídky. Alergické onemocnění bylo lé kařem diagnostikováno u 2250 dětí z celkového počtu 7075, což před stavu- je prevalenci 32 %. Nějčastější diagnózou byla pylová alergická rýma (13 % všech dětí) a atopický ekzém (12 %). Prevalence astm atu byla 8,2 %. Struktura alergických onemocnění byla závislá na věku dětí. Výskyt atopické dermatitidy byl nejvyšší u 5letých dětí, ast ma u 13letých, pylová rýma u 17letých. Ve srovnání s předchozími studiemi v letech 1996 a 2001 byl zaznamenán nárůst alergických onemocnění v ČR ve všech věkových skupinách.

Monitoring of occurrence of allergy diseases has been organize d by the National Institute of Public Health since 1996. The last study was conducted on population of children of 5, 9, 13 and 17 years of age in 18 towns of the Czech Republic during 2006. Data were used from do cumentation of 61 pediatricians and from a questionnaire filled out by parents during preventive examinations. Allergy disease as diagnosed by the pediatrician occurred in a total of 2 250 children out of the monitored set of 7 075 children, representing prevalence of 32%. The most freq uent disease was pollen rhinitis (13% of all children) and constitutional dermati tis (12% of all children). Prevalence of asthma was 8.2%. The s tructure of allergy diseases was different in individual age groups. Constitutional dermatitis prevailed among 5-year children, asthma prevailed in 13-year children, and pollinosis prevailed among 17-year children. In comparison with studies of 1996 and 2001, there is an apparent increase of allergy diseases in all age groups.
