Článek se zabývá bojovým uměním Shaolin kung fu a možností jeho zařazení v rámci systematizaci úpolů. Autor poukazuje na problematiku zařazení bojových umění resp. shaolin kung fu v této systematizaci. Na základě přiblížení několika základních variant systematiky je zdůrazněn odlišný pohled na taxonomii v rámci kategorizace úpolů. Práce objasňuje hlavní rozdíly mezi úpolovými sporty a bojovým uměním. Následně je zamítnuta možnost zařazovat bojová umění (shaolin kung fu) do kategorie úpolových sportů. Východiskem je volba vhodného kritéria při analýze jednotlivých činností s úpolovou tématikou a vytvoření nové kategorie bojová umění v této taxonomii.

The article deals with the Shaolin Kung Fu martial art and its formatting within the resistance exercises systematization. The author advert to the problema of the martial art, or more precisely Shaolin Kung Fu formatting within its systematization. On account of this approaching of some basic variants of the systematization is emphasizing the different view of the taxonomy within the resistance exercises categorization. The task brings out the main differences between the resistance exercises and the martial art. There is rejected the posibility of the introdukce the martial arts (the Shaolin Kung Fu) into the resistance exercises category subsequently. The ressource of this article is the choice of the acceptable criterion upon the analyse of the various activities with the resistance exercises themes and the creating of the new category martial arts in this taxonomy.
