Uzavírání mezery v místě rozštěpového defektu posunem zubů fixním ortodontickým aparátem umožňuje funkční a estetickou rehabilitaci chrupu bez nutnosti zhotovení protetické náhrady. Na 40 okluzogramech u 20 pacientů s celkovým jednostranným rozštěpem byl analyzován rozsah a charakter ortodontických posunů zubů při uzávěru rozštěpového defektu. Byl nalezen rozdílný charakter změn v postavení a pohybech zubů ve velkém rozštěpovém segmentu čelisti u pravostranného a levostranného celkového rozštěpu, ke kterým došlo při uzavíráni rozštěpového defektu chrupu a úpravě tvaru horního zubního oblouku fixním ortodontickým aparátem.

The space closure in the cleft region by means of tooth movement with fixed orthodontic appliance allows for a functional and aesthetic reconstruction of the dentition without prosthetic treatment. We made the analysis of 40 occlusograms of 20 patients with a complete unilateral cleft and evaluated the extent and characteristics of orthodontic tooth movements during the space closure in the cleft region. We found differences in position and movement of teeth in the large cleft segment for left-sided and right-sided complete cleft during the closed of the cleft space and adjustment of the arch shape of the upper arch with fixed orthodontic appliance.
