Screening sluchu novorozenců se v České republice zavádí postupně již několik let a je zaveden ve většině porodnic. V krajích, kde vznikla tzv. Centra II (většinou jde o krajská ORL pracoviště, kde je vyšetřen práh sluchu a je zajištěná další péče o sluchově postižené dítě), která také plní funkci koordinátora, je provádění screeningu na dobré úrovni. Pravidelně jsou sledovány počty vyšetřených dětí v jednotlivých porodnicích, počty dětí s nevýbavnými OAE a je sledován záchyt dětí se sluchovou vadou. Tato Centra II mohou z dostupných výsledků vzájemně porovnávat úspěšnost prováděného novorozeneckého screeningu. Většina krajů však tyto údaje nesleduje a neporovnává, i když jsou v jednotlivých porodnicích dostupné.

Newborn hearing screening in Czech Republic is being introduced for several years and is conducted in a majority of maternity hospitals. In the regions where Centers II (these are usually county ENT departments, where the threshold of hearing is examined and further care for children with hearing loss is pursued) were created and which serve as coordinator is on a good level. The number of examined children and the number of children with undetectable otoacoustic emissions in most maternity hospitals is periodically monitored and children with hearing loss are followed-up.
