Autoři uvádějí kazuistiku pacienta s epiteloidním hemangioendoteliomem jater (HEHE), který byl léčen chemoembolizací (TACE). Při dlouhodobém sledování 9 let od stanovení diagnózy je klinicky bez obtíží a bez progrese onemocnění při vyšetření zobrazovacími metodami. Součástí práce je shrnutí charakteristiky HEHE jako vzácného maligního nádoru, jeho diagnostika i možnosti léčby.
Authors present a case report of a patient with epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (HEHE) treated by chemoembolization (TACE). The patient is without clinical manifestations and without tumour progression on imaging methods during long term follow-up of 9 years after diagnosis of HEHE. Characteristics of HEHE as a rare malignant tumour as well as diagnostic and treating options are discussed in the paper.
