Činnosti v rámci primární či sekundární prevence v České republice (ČR) se u mnoha programů setkávají s různou úspěšností a efektivitou, obvykle však nižší, než by bylo pro společnost přínosné. V rámci námi provedeného šetření byl sledován zájem o nejrůznější nabízené zdravotně preventivní akce, které byly organizovány FZS ZČU v Plzni. Analýzou získaných dat bylo například zjištěno, že větší zájem o preventivní akce projevili účastníci, kteří se o nich dozvěděli od známých, přátel apod. oproti propagaci např. na internetu či z letákových akcí v MHD. Celkově větší zájem o zdravotně preventivní činnosti projevily ženy. Důležitost zdravotně preventivních akcí potvrdil i fakt, že v rámci prováděného screeningu bylo odhaleno několik osob s podezřením na hypertenzi či hyperglykémii, které o svých zdravotních rizicích neměly tušení. Pouze 2 % respondentů měla zjištěné vyšší hodnoty krevního tlaku nad 140/90 mm Hg. Nadváhou trpělo 34,3 % vyšetřovaných osob.

Activities in the context of the primary or secondary prevention in the Czech Republic have faced many programs with varying degrees of success and efficiency. Usually is however lower than it would be beneficial to the society. In the framework of our investigations was monitored interest about the variety of the offered sanitary-preventive actions that have been organized by the Faculty of Health Care Studies West Bohemia in Pilsen. The analysis of the obtained data, was, for example, found that a greater interest in preventive action shown by the participants, who find out about them from acquaintances, friends, etc. over the promotion such as on the internet or from the leaflets actions in the public transport. Overall, women had a greater interest in health prevention activities. The importance of sanitary-preventive actions was also confirmed by the fact that in the framework of the carried out screening, it was revealed several people with suspected hypertension or hyperglycaemia, who on their health risks they had no idea. Overweight suffered 34.3 % of examined persons.
