Dětská kůže je vysoce citlivý orgán, a proto není divu, že kožní vyrážky a ekzémy patří mezi běžné zdravotní obtíže v nejútlejším věku života. Článek přináší přehled specifických vlastností dětské pokožky, které je potřeba pochopit, abychom mohli kožní problémy kojenců vnímat v širších souvislostech. První díl článku bude dále zaměřen na charakteristiku a samoléčbu nejběžnějších neinfekčních kožních problémů kojenců a batolat (opruzení, kontaktní iritativní dermatitida a kožní vyrážky související s činností potních a mazových žláz). Druhý díl článku naváže na problematiku neinfekčních kožních problémů dětí mimo jiné atopickým ekzémem a seboroickou dermatitidou, dále bude zmíněn vliv slunečního záření nebo reakce kůže na kontakt s živočichy.

The article presents a review of the specific features of children's skin that need to be understood so that skin problems in infants can be seen in a broader context. The first part of the article will deal with the characteristics and self-treatment of the most common non-infectious skin problems in infants and toddlers (intertrigo, irritant contact dermatitis, and skin rash associated with the action of sweat and sebaceous glands). The second part of the article will further discuss the issue of non-infectious skin problems in children, such as atopic eczema and seborrhoeic dermatitis, as well as the effect of sunlight or skin reactions to contact with animals.
