Veľmi zriedkavú formu sekundárneho zhubného nádoru pľúc predstavujú metastázy malígneho feochromocytómu. V článku sa venujeme pacientke po adrenalektomii pre feochromocytóm, s nálezom solitárneho nodulu v pravom pľúcnom krídle pri kontrolnom PET/CT vyšetrení. Po chirurgickej resekcii pľúcneho ložiska bola histologicky potvrdená metastáza malígneho feochromocytómu. Kazuistikou upozorňujeme na možnosť neobvyklej etiológie solitárneho pľúcneho nodulu a dôležitosť dlhodobej dispenzarizácie pacientov po exstirpácii feochromocytómu, keďže patologicko-anatomické určenie malígnej povahy ochorenia je náročné.

Metastases of malignant pheochromocytoma represent a very rare form of a secondary malignant pulmonary tumor. The paper demonstrates a patient with a history of adrenalectomy due to pheochromocytoma, who was diagnosed with a solitary nodule in the right pulmonary wing by PET/CT assessment. The metastasis of malignant pheochromocytoma was histologically proven after the surgical resection of the pulmonary lesion. The case report informs about the possibility of an uncommon etiology of a solitary pulmonary nodule and the importance of a long term follow up of patients after the extirpation of pheochromocytoma, as the pathological and anatomical determination of a malignant character of this disease is difficult.
