Prezentována je kazuistika mimonemocniční náhlé zástavy oběhu s fibrilací komor, u které došlo k selhání analýzy rytmu automatizovaným externím defibrilátorem (AED). Defibrilace byla provedena až výjezdovou skupinou zdravotnické záchranné služby. Autoři v práci dále diskutují nad možnými příčinami selhání AED a jejich systémovými dopady na Projekt časné defibrilace v Ústeckém kraji.
We present a case study of out-of-hospital ventricular fibrillation, in which analysis by the automated external defibrillator (AED) failed. Defibrillation was performed by the emergency medical service. The authors further discuss the causes of AED failure and its implications for the early defibrillation project in the Ústí Region.
