Hallux valgus patří mezi statické deformity přednoží s vysokou prevalencí v populaci. Charakteristické pro něj je zvětšení intermetatarzálního úhlu mezi I. a II. metatarzem (IMA) a zvětšení valgozity I. metatarzofalangeálního kloubu (HVA), často je tato vada spojena s hypermobilitou I. tarzometatarzálního kloubu. V literatuře je publikováno více než 400 originálních metod pro korekci této deformity. Od roku 2018 jsme na našem pracovišti při Lapidusově operaci s nestabilitou TMT kloubu začali používat mediální dlahu Aptus TMT-1 výrobce Medartis. Celkově jsme dlahu použili u 18 pacientů, u kterých jsme pooperačně hodnotili korekci IMA a dobu zhojení dézy. Zhojení proběhlo do devíti týdnů, průměrná korekce IMA byla 7,55°. Výhodou použité dlahy je větší stabilita a primární pevnost provedené dézy.

Hallux valgus belongs to the group of static deformities of the forefoot with high prevalence in the population. It is charac-terized by an increase in the intermetatarsal angle between the 1st and 2nd metatarsal (IMA) and an increase in the valgus deformity of the 1st metatarsophalangeal joint (HVA). For correcting this deformity more than 400 unique methods are published in the literature. Our department have started using TMT I media splint Aptus of Medartis during Lapidus surgery with 1st TMT joint instability since 2018. Overall, we used the splint in 18 patient cases and postoperatively evaluated IMA correction and a healing period of the arthrodesis. Healing was completed within the period of 9 weeks with an average IMA correction of 7.55°. The advantage of the splint used is greater stability and primary strength of the performed arthrodesis.
