Úvod: Cílem práce bylo shrnout krátkodobé klinické výsledky po implantaci náhrady trapeziometakarpálního kloubu palce Beznoska TMCJ.Metoda a materiál: Zahrnuty jsou výsledky 55 takto implantovaných náhrad, hodnotili jsme změny ve skóre DASH, v hybnosti, svalové síle (grip strength) a VAS před operací a po operaci.Výsledky: U téměř všech pacientů došlo rok od operace ke zlepšení sledovaných parametrů, průměrné skóre DASH kleslo z předoperačních 72,3 na 21,5 po operaci, síla stisku vzrostla ze 14,7 kg na 25,9 kg, opozice palce dle Kapandjiho ze zvýšila ze 7,1 na 9,6 a bolest hodnocená dle VAS poklesla z průměru 7,8 předoperačně na 0,9 bodu. Pozorovali jsme celkem 13 komplikací, z toho čtyřikrát šlo o aseptickou migraci, v osmi případech morbus de Quervaine a jednu technickou komplikaci při implantaci. Infekční komplikaci jsme nezaznamenali.

Introduction: The aim of this study was to summarize the short-term clinical results following implantation of the trapezio--metacarpal joint endoprosthesis of the thumb Beznoska TMCJ.Methods and materials: Results of 55 such implants are included, we evaluated changes in DASH score, range of motion, grip strenght and VAS before and after surgery.Results: In almost all patients, the monitored parameters improved within one year after surgery. Pre- and post- operative DASH score were 72.3 and 21.5, respectively. The average grip strenght increased from 14.7 to 25.9, range of motion accor-ding to Kapandji increased from 7.1 to 9.6 post-operatively. The average VAS values decreased from 7.8 to 0.9 after surgery. We observed a total amount of 13 complications, four of which were aseptic loosening, eight cases of morbus de Quervaine and one technical complication during surgery. We did not notice any infectious complication.Disscusion: Implantation of thumb’s basal joint endoprosthesis in correct indication showed an improvement in hand func-tion and pain relief as well, comparable to other surgical techniques used for treatment of basal joint ostheoartritis..
