Východiska: Algoritmus diagnostiky a terapie hepatocelulárního karcinomu (HCC) byl řadu let relativně ustálený. V posledních několika letech je patrný zřetelný pokrok, který se promítá do mezinárodních doporučení i do našich doporučení, která jsou uvedena v Modré knize České onkologické společnosti. Cíl: Aktuální vývoj v diagnostice a léčbě HCC dobře vystihuje přehled vybraných prezentací z letošních konferencí Gastrointestinal Cancers Symposium v San Franciscu a American Society for Clinical Oncology Annual Meeting 2020. V přehledu se soustředíme na vybrané novinky z oblasti diagnostiky, chirurgické a intervenční léčby HCC, systémovou léčbu a kombinaci těchto modalit.
Background: The algorithm for diagnosing and treating HCC has been relatively stable for many years. In the last few years, there has been clear progress, which is reflected in the international recommendations and in our recommendations, which are set out in the Blue Book of the Czech Oncological Society. Purpose: Current developments in the diagnosis and treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) are well illustrated by selected presentations from this year‘s Gastrointestinal Cancers Symposium in San Francisco and the American Society for Clinical Oncology Annual Meeting 2020. The review will focus on selected news from the diagnostics as well as surgical and interventional treatment of HCC, systemic treatment and a combination of these modalities.
