Novinky ve farmakoterapii a nefarmakologické léčbě přinesly nové možnosti léčby srdečního selhání. Léčba srdečního selhání se sníženou ejekční frakcí levé komory má čtyři základní pilíře farmakoterapie. Aktualizace doporučených postupů rozšířila možnosti léčby pro srdeční selhání s mírně sníženou a Zachovalou ejekční frakcí levé komory. Přístrojová léčba srdečního selhání a katetrizační intervence chlopenních vad se stávají pro pacienty dostupnými.

New options in the pharmacotherapy and non-pharmacological therapy brought new possibilities of the heart failure treatment. The treatment of heart failure with reduced ejection fraction has four basic pillars of pharmacotherapy. An update of the heart failure guidelines extended new options in the treatment of heart failure with preserved and mildly reduced ejection fraction. Device therapy and catheter-base interventions in valvular heart disease are now available for the patients.
