Práce rozebírá soubor pacientů s mimoslřevní manifestací salmonelózy, hospitalizovaných na klmice infekčnich chorob FN Bmo-Bohunice za léta 1991-1995. Všímá si rozdělení na manifestace primární a sekundární (v souvislosti s gastroenteritidou). Celkem je zachyceno 60 nemocných, 20 s primární, 40 se sekundární manifestací, průměmého věku 67 let. Salmonely byly prokazovány mimo střevní ústrojí v hemokultuře (23krát), moči (26krát), lokálně (8krát v abscesu či stem z rány), 3krát ve více lokalizacích současně. U pacientů byla přítomna velmi často závažná onemocnění, zejména maligní, dále diabetes mellitus, nemoci léčené kortikoidy, u sahnonelových uroinfekcí pak nemoci močového úsfrojí. Analyzován je obraz nemoci, laboratomí a bakteriologické nálezy, podrobněji jsou popsáni 2 nemocní s opakovanými relapsy. Při porovnání laboratornich výsledků, průběhu nemoci a terapie vyzněl obraz choroby jako závažnější u primárních manifestací. jejichž vznik je jednoznačně ovlivněn aktuáhiím stavem pacienta a pridruženými chorobami.

The authors analyze a group of patients with extraintestinal manifestations of salmonellosis hospitalized at the Infectious Diseases Clinic of the Faculty Hospital Bmo-Bohunice in 1991-1995. He pays attention to primary and secondary manifestations (in conjunction with gastroenteritis). A total of 60 patients were ;orded, 20 with primary, 40 with secondary manifestations, mean age 67 years. Salmonellae outside the gastrointestinal tract were detected in haemocultures (23x), urine (26x) locally (8x in an abscess or smear from a woimd), 3x concurrently at several sites. The patients suffered very often from serious diseases, in particular malignant ones, from diabetes mellitus, corticoid treated diseases, those with Salmonella uroinfections from diseases of the urinary tract. The authors analyze the clinical aspects of the disease, laboratory and bacteriological findings. Two patients with repeated relapses are described. Comparison of laboratory findings , the course ofthe disease and treatment revealed that the disease appeared to be more serious in primary manifestations, then- development being unequivocally influenced by the patient's condition at the time and by associated diseases.
