Naše práce aplikuje zkušenosti zahraničních studií týkajících se diagnostiky, sledování a laserové léčby klasické formy chorioideální neovaskularizace (CHNV) u pacientů s věkem podmíněnou makulární degenerací. Soubor zahrnuje jednnak 12 pacientů s CHNV v extrafoveolární lokalizaci, kteří byli léčeni laserovou fotokoagulací a dalších 12 pacientů sledovaných pro CHNV v juxta- a subfoveolární lokalizaci. Ve skupině léčených se vizus zlepšil či stabilizoval u 9 pacientů (75 %), ve skupině neléčených se nezměnil u 3 pacientů (25 %) při průměrné sledovací době 11 resp. 13 měsíců. Naše výsledky odpovídají publikovaným údajům.
The authors applied experience from studies conducted abroad pertaining to the diagnosis, follow-up and laser treatment of the classic chorioidal neovascularization (CNV) in patients with age-related macular degeneration. The group comprises 12 patients with CNV with an extrafoveolar localization who were treated by laser photocoagulation and another 12 patients investigated on account of CNV with a juxta and subfoveal localization. In the group of treated patients vision improved or became stabilized in 9 patients (75 %), in the group of untreated patients it did not change in 3 (25 %), the mean follow-up period being 11 and 13 months resp. The assembled results correspond with those published in the literature.
