Autoři na souboru 53 operovaných očí u 30 nemocných dětí ověřovali změnu velikosti astigmatismu, změnu jeho osy a rovněž změny korigované zrakové os- trosti - to vše po provedeném chirurgickém výkonu na strabujícím oku. Děti byly vyšetřovány za shodných podmínek těsně před operací a dále za týden a za dva měsíce po výkonu. Zvýšený astigmatismus podle pravidla nalezli častěji až při druhé kontrole, a to u 24 % operovaných očí (o 0,5 Dpt 13 % a o 1,0 Dpt u dalších 11 %). Zjistili rovněž změnu osy astigmatismu po oslabení m. obl. inf. myektomií bez sutury o 5 až 30 stupňů v směru incyklorotace oka. Vidění s korekcí bylo po operaci mírně zhor- šeno pouze na 4, původně amblyopických, očích. Korekce nemusela být ani v jediném případě měněna. Malá zhoršení zrakové ostrosti připisují autoři spíše odložení původně užívané okluze než změně astigmatismu či jeho osy.
The authors tested in a group of 53 operated eyes in 30 sick children the changes of the extent of astigmatism, change of its axis as well as changes of corrected visual acuity - all that after surgery of the affected eye. The children were examined under equal conditions closely before surgery and one week and two months after surgery. Increased astigmatism was found more frequently only during the second check- up:in 24%operated eyes (by 0.5Dpt 13% and by 1.0 Dpt in another 11%).They found also a change in the axis of astigmatism after weakening of the m.obl.inf.,due to myectomy without suture, by 5 to 30 degrees in the direction of incyclorotation of the eye. Vision with correction was deteriorated only slightly to 4,in the oringinally amblyopic eyes. A slight deterioration of the visual acuity is ascribed by the authors to delay of the formerly used occlusion rather than to a change of astigmatism or its axis.
