Definice

Receptory spřažené s G proteinem, které interagují se sloučeninami stopových aminů (např. p-oktopaminem, beta-fenylethylaminem, tryptaminem, p-tryptaminem), které jsou v nízkých koncentracích obsažené ve tkáních savců. Většina lidských receptorů asociovaných se stopovými aminy je exprimovaná v neuronech čichového epitelu.

G-protein coupled receptors that interact with trace amine compounds (e.g. P-OCTOPAMINE; TRYPTAMINE; P-TYRAMINE; and beta-phenylethylamine) which are present at low tissue levels in mammals. Most human trace amine-associated receptors other than Trace Amine Associated Receptor 1 are ODORANT RECEPTORS expressed in olfactory epithelium neurons.
