Infekce žlučových cest parazitem druhu motolice žlučová (Clonorchis sinensis, též Opisthorchis sinensis). Onemocnění může vést k zánětu žlučových cest, šíření žlučového epitelu, progresivní portální fibróze a také k nádorům žlučovodu. Rozšíření do jater může vést ke změnám metabolismu tuků a cirhóze.

Infection of the biliary passages with CLONORCHIS SINENSIS, also called Opisthorchis sinensis. It may lead to inflammation of the biliary tract, proliferation of biliary epithelium, progressive portal fibrosis, and sometimes bile duct carcinoma.
