Směrovaný růst organismů jako reakce na zemskou tíži. U rostlin je hlavní kořen pozitivně gravitropní a hlavní stonek rostoucí nahoru je negativně gravitropní, bez ohledu na pozici, v níž jsou rostliny umístěny. Gravitropismus rostlin je řízený auxiny, regulátory růstu rostlin.

In plants, the main root is positively gravitropic (growing downwards) and a main stem is negatively gravitropic (growing upwards), irrespective of the positions in which they are placed.
