Autori sa zaoberajú problematikou mastocytózy u 20 pacientov (15 detí a 5 dospelých) s kutánnou formou ochorenia. Na základe vyhodnotenia rutinnej palety vyšetrení a biochemických parametrov autori vyslovili podozrenie, že systémovú mastocytózu s postihnutím pečene malo 11, kostnej drene 9, lymfatických uzlín 3 a gastrointestinálneho traktu 4 pacienti. Celkove vyslovili autori podozrenie, m mastocytózu, okrem kože, s postihnutím ďalšieho jedného, resp. viacerých orgánov malo 15 (75 %) pacientov (11 detí a 4 dospelí). Na základe biopsií orgánov s následným histologickým vyšetrením autori exaktne diagnostikovali systémovú mastocytózu v 6 (30 %) prípadoch (3x mastocytáma infiltrácia kostnej drene, 2x lymfatických uzlín, Ix pečene). Autori ďalej diskutujú o klasifikácii ochorenia, ktorá by najlepšie vystihovala celú problematiku mastocytosis.
The authors discuss the problem of mastocytosis in 20 patients (15 children and 5 adults) with the cutaneous form of the disease. Based on evaluation of the routine examination pattern and biochemical parameters the authors suspect that systemic mastocytosis with affection of the liver was involved in 11 patients, of bone marrow in 9, of lymph nodes in 3 and of the gastrointestinal tract n 4 patients. The authors suspected moreover that systemic mastocytosis, in addition to mastocytosis of the skin with affection of another or several other organs was present in 15 (75 %) patients Based on organ biopsy with subsequent histological examination the authors diagnosed accurately systemic mastocytosis in 6 (30 %) cases (3x mastocytary infiltration of the bone marrow, 2x of the lymph nodes, Ix of the liver). The authors discuss also the classification of the disease which will express best the whole problem of mastocytosis.
