Práca sa zaoberá izoláciou a identifikáciou flavonoidov prítomných v listoch Holodiscus discolor (Pursh) Maxim. (Rosaceae). Z metanolového extraktu boli izolované tri flavonoidové glykozidy flavonolového typu: kempferol–3–O–ramnozid, kvercetín–3–O–glukozid (izokvercitrín) a kvercetín–3–O–ramnozid (kvercitrín), ktoré boli identifikované pomocou fyzikálno-chemických metód, porovnaním so štandardmi a literatúrou. Z rastlinného druhu Holodiscus discolor (Pursh) Maxim. boli izolované prvýkrát.
The paper deals with the isolation and identification of constituents of the leaves of Holodiscus discolor (Pursh) Maxim. (Rosaceae). Three flavonoid glycosides of flavonol type were isolated from the methanolic extract: kaempferol–3–O–rhamnoside, quercetin–3–O–glucoside (isoquercitrin) and quercetin–3–O–rhamnoside (quercitrin). Isolates were identified by physical-chemical data, by comparison with authentic samples and literature data. The above-mentioned compounds were isolated from Holodiscus discolor (Pursh) Maxim. for the first time.
Práca sa zaoberá stanovením protikvasinkovej aktivity etanolových extraktov kvetov a cibúl ľaliebielej (Lilium candidum L., Liliaceae) a vybraných látok izolovaných z týchto extraktov. Na stanovenieaktivity bola použitá dilučná metóda, kultivačné platňové stanovenie počtu kvasiniek a stanoveniebielkovín Lowryho metódou. Z výsledkov stanovenia vyplynulo, že vyššiu protikvasinkovúaktivitu majú extrakty z cibúľ v porovnaní s extraktom z kvetov, kým izolované látky nevykazovaliprotikvasinkovú aktivitu.
The paper deals with anti-yeast activity of ethanolic extracts from the flowers and bulbs of Liliumcandidum L., Liliaceae, as well as some compounds isolated from these extracts. Several differentmethods were used for the determination of anti-yeast activity: Lowry method of protein determination,dilution and cultivation method. The extract from the bulbs was shown to be more activethan the extract from the flowers, while isolated compounds were inactive against the tested yeasts.
Práca sa zaoberá izoláciou a identifikáciou látok z petroléterového a metanolového extraktu holodisku dvojfarebného – Holodiscus discolor (PURSH) MAXIM., Rosaceae. Z petroléterového extraktulistov tejto rastliny bol izolovaný b-sitosterol a taraxasterol, z metanolového extraktu luteolín-7-O-glukozid. Látky boli identifikované na základe spektrálnych údajov a porovnaním s autentickýmivzorkami.

Z butanolového extraktu kvetov Lilium candidum L. sa chromatografickými deliacimi metódamiizoloval b-sitosterol a b-sitosterol glukozid, ktorých identitu sme potvrdili na základe spektrálnychúdajov a porovnaním s literárnymi údajmi. b-sitosterol glukozid nebol doteraz v rode Lilium L.opísaný.
From the butanolic extract of petals of Lilium candidum L., b-sitosterol and b-sitosterol glucosidewere isolated. The isolated compounds were identified by spectroscopic means and by comparisonwith literature data; b-sitosterol glucoside was isolated in genus Lilium L. for the first time.
