Autori prezentujú skúsenosti s detekciou Chlamydia trachomatis z endocervikálneho výteru metódou CLEARVIEW Chlamydia MF (OXOID). Citlivosť tohoto testu porovnávajú s metódou PCR. Bližšie analyzovali súbor 75 pacientok s diagnózou tubárna sterilita, ženská neplodnosť, mimomaternicové tehotenstvo a predčasný pôrod. Podľa výrobcu CLEARVIEW Chlamydia MF je rýchly, jednoduchý test pre priame stanovenie antigénu Chlamydia trachomatis z endocervikálnych sterov u žien a moča u mužov. Na základe získaných výsledkov autori však odporúčajú použitie testu ako orientačnú metódu hlavne pre ambulantnú gynekologickú prax.

The authors present their experience with Chlamydia trachomatis detection in endocervical swabs by the CLEARVIEW Chlamydia MF (OXOID). The sensitivity and specificity of the test is compared with those of PCR. Samples from 75 patients with diagnosis of tube Sterility, infertility, extrauterine pregnancy and prematúre birth were examined. CLEARVIEW Chlamydia MF is, according to the producer's information, a rapid simple test for direct detection of Chlamydia trachomatis antigen in endocervical swab samples in females and from urine samples in males. According to the results achieved in the study, the test can be recommended as an orientation method mainly for gynaecological practitioners of the first contact. In cases of unclear results, especially when samples with small amount of chlamydial antigen are analysed, the PCR technique seems to be more sensi^^^^, ai well as more specific.
