Práce rozebírá příčiny snadného šíření bakteriální infekce mezi pulpou a periodonciem a upozorňuje na vzájemné souvislosti patologického postižení obou tkání. Uvádí též klasifikaci pulpo-parodontálních defektů a terapeutické možnosti jejich ovlivnění.
The paper discusses the reasons of dissemination of bacteria and their toxic products between the pulp and the periodontal ligament and brings up the relationship of endodontic and periodontic lesions. The author reports the classification of perio-endo lesions and possibilities of their therapy.
