Střevní duplikatury jsou vzácnou vrozenou vadou, která je jen vzácně odhalena až v dospělém věku. Formou kazuistiky je demonstrován případ mladé ženy, u níž, po vyšetření, teprve operace odhalila příčinu nejasné břišní symptomatologie. Jednalo se o cystickou duplikátům tenkého střeva, která byla chirurgicky odstraněna. Přes nesnáze, které vyžádaly dokonce další operační revizi, se podařilo stav úspěšně zvládnout. Na základě získané zkušenosti diskutují autoři některé aspekty těchto stavů - etiopatogenezi, klinické příznaky, možnosti vyšetření a komplikací, a zdůrazňují operační řešení jako hlavní způsob léčby.

Intestinal duplications are described as uncommon congenital anomalies rarely diagnosed in adults. A case of young woman with obscure abnominal symptomatology is demonstrated. After investigation the cause of it was disclosed surgically. During operation a cystic ileal duplication was exposed and resected. Despite of difficulties calling for another operation, the case was successfully solved. Based on the author's experience some aspects of these diseases - etiopatogenesis, symptoms, possibilities of examination and complications are discussed and surgery as the main treatment is emphasized.
