Tématem článku je problematika potřeby zdravotní péče odvozená z hodnocení subjektivního zdravotního stavu a postojů Romů ke zdraví a zdravotní péči a konečně též problematika životního stylu, která se zdravotním stavem každé populace velice úzce souvisí.

The subject of the paper is the problem of health care requirement derived from evaluation of the subjective health status and attitudes of Romanies to health and health care, and finally also the problem of lifestyle which is very closely associated with the health status of any population.
