V práci autoři prezentují kazuistiku do té doby zdravé 48leté pacientky s limitovanou formou Wegenerovy granulomatózy. Choroba se manifestovala oboustrannou mastoiditidou s parézou lícního nervu, úplnou ztrátou sluchu vlevo, těžkýmpoškozením sluchu vpravo a dočasnou okluzí a. centralis retinae vpravo. V diskusi autoři upozorňují na diagnostická úskalí limitované formy Wegenerovy granulomatózy. Imunosupresivní a cytostatická léčba vedla v poměrně krátké době ke klinicko laboratorní remisi nemoci. V závěru je zdůrazněna týmová spolupráce jak v diagnostice nemoci, tak při léčbě.

The authors present the case-record of a previously healthy 48-year-old female patient with the limited form of Wegener's granulomatosis. The disease was manifested by bilateral mastoiditis with paresis of the facial nerve, complete loss of hearing on the left, serious impairment of hearing on the right side and temporary occlusion of the a. centralis retinae on the right. In the discussion the authors draw attention to the diagnostic pitfalls of the limited form of Wegener's granulomatosis. Immunosupressive and cytostatic treatment led within a relatively short time to clinical and laboratory remission of the disease. In the conclusion the authors emphasize the importance of team work in the diagnosis and treatment of the disease.
